Palm Sunday
Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, marking Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
Riding a lowly donkey, He was welcomed with shouts of “Hosanna!” and “Blessed is the King of Israel.” While the people celebrated, Jesus knew that He was soon to face suffering and death.
Sunday, March 24
- 9 am in the Main Sanctuary
- 10:45 am in the Main Sanctuary and Chapel (update: no Hanger service)
Both services offer childcare for babies and preschoolers. Children in K-5th grade can attend KidsThrive small groups at 9 am and KidsQuest worship at 10:45 am.
Maundy Thursday
At His last meal—the celebration of Passover where Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper—our servant King washed the feet of His disciples and gave them a new commandment to love one another.
Maundy Thursday comes from the Latin word mandatum, meaning command or mandate. Communion is served at this service.
Thursday, March 28
7 pm in the Main Sanctuary
Childcare for babies and preschoolers is available.
Good Friday
On Good Friday, we remember how an almighty King, with the power to strike down every adversary, willingly offered up His life as a ransom for many.
While the brutality of the cross seems far from “good,” Jesus’ death was part of God’s gracious plan to redeem His people. It is the ultimate gift of a loving God for His creation.
Friday, March 29
Noon in the Main Sanctuary
Childcare for babies and preschoolers is available.
Easter
On the third day, the stone was rolled away, revealing an empty tomb. Jesus Christ has risen! He has conquered sin and death. On Easter, we joyfully celebrate God’s fulfilled promise of redemption.
Saturday, March 30
- 5 pm in the Main Sanctuary. Childcare for babies and preschoolers is available.
Sunday, March 31
- 7 am Sunrise Service near the Outdoor Chapel. Bring a blanket or chair. No childcare available.
- 9 am and 11 am in the Main Sanctuary. Both services offer childcare for babies and preschoolers and KidsQuest worship for K-5th grade.
If you are unable to join us in person, all Holy Week services except the Sunrise Service will be streamed. Watch the livestream at perimeter.org/live, in the Perimeter Church App, or on our YouTube channel.
