Palm Sunday
The Wonder of His Entry
On Palm Sunday, the story of Holy Week begins. Jesus, our triumphant King, rides into Jerusalem on a lowly donkey hearing praises and shouts of “Hosanna!”. As the story continues, we see Him weep over the city that will soon reject Him. Read about it in Matthew 21:1-11.

Maundy Thursday
The Wonder of His Humility
On Maundy Thursday, we remember the last supper Jesus spent with His disciples (Matthew 26:1-29). The word Maundy is from the Latin mandatum which means “command or mandate.” Jesus gave us a new command: to love one another. Communion is served at this service.

Good Friday
The Wonder of His Sacrifice
During Good Friday, we remember the death of Jesus on the cross (Matthew 27:1-66). We wonder at an almighty King, with the power to strike down every adversary – even death – yet, embracing death willingly for the ransom of many.

Easter Sunday
The Wonder of His Resurrection
At Easter, we celebrate God’s power and the victory over sin and death (Matthew 28:1-10). No longer in the grave from Good Friday, Jesus is alive!
